didn't see one so, here.
ENDOU YOU FUCKFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE

FUNi put every episode of Nerima Daikon Brothers up on YouTube. I want to be FUNimation when I grow up.
>>42867 Now if they'd just get the rights to Utena and Sailor Moon, all will be right with the world.
>>42869 Well, TOEI was shopping out the rights to Sailor Moon about a month or so back, so they might actually announce it at one of the next major cons. http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/16792.html Wiki says FUNI is considering it, too, so it seems even more likely.
New Alita chapter!
Hey did somebody say GAINAX?
OK, this might technically be a /tek/ thing, but it's about reading manga scans downloaded onto my computer instead of using a reader. Are there any image viewing programs which can be set so the default view of the image is at it's original size and scrolled all the way up to the top if it's to large for one screen and if there is how do I set it that way? Every program I have only shrinks any pic to large for one screen by default and when you press full zooms into the center. So when reading anything showing a sequence of words, imagines or whatever that's bigger than one screen requires pressing the "full" button and scrolling up for each page, which really screws up trying to picture the panels happening in sequence.
>>43046 Irfanview?
>>43047 (download and fiddle with the options a bit) Success! Thanks.
>>43049 No problem. Like I said in the /tek/ sticky, I've been using Irfanview for over ten years, and it's never failed me yet.
Huh, someone licensed it? I'll buy the hell out of it, unless Manga Fox is just yankin' my chain. >>43047 http://www.irfanview.com/main_what_is_engl.htm >XnView has been stealing/cloning features and whole dialogs from IrfanView, for 10+ years Well, that's pretty bogus. Consider me switched.
>>43069 No, it isn't licensed, Google threw a hissy fit about mature mangas on the site, so they pulled virtually everything even remotely mature for about 2 weeks. They finally sorted out the gore based mature manga like Franken Fran from the ones like this one (which was on my bloody "to read" list) and Dance in the Vampire Bund. So yeah, they can't just say "this isn't here because you're a bunch of perverts"
>>42758
>>43214
>>43250 I couldn't bloody agree more. And even what they're using as the placeholder is bullshit. "We can't show this because it's licensed!" And yeah Naruto and Bleach are the ones with the most damn hits on the site. It's four types of bullshit I say!
>>43253 As I see it Shonen Jump realized that trying to stop the distribution of the big 3 would wasted effort. Can't stop it.
>>43253 Just download them instead of shitty reading sites >>43260 Shonen Jump (or rather Shueisha) shut down RAW paradise. I don't think they care much about the foreign markets but they are doing something about it because as it is Japs get it off the net before they get their SJ's in the mail.
>>43274 Not quite. What happened is that in WSJ, they printed a thing about how piracy is bad, hurting the industry etc etc. It wasn't aimed at scanlations, but at Japanese readers who pirate off the internet. RAW Paradise freaked out and SHUT. DOWN. EVERYTHING because like 95% of their traffic was from Japan. That's how I heard it anyway. Shueisha didn't actually close RAW Paradise, but they did provoke them into closing themselves down.
>>43274 I was talking about the scanlations and the American magazine of Shonen Jump. So I guess I mean Viz.
SHIT YEAH, THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!
>>43278 I didn't think there was enough of the manga to make an anime...
AAAAAAAAAAA AMANO THIS IS BEAUTIFUL ILU but apparently a 50pg chapter isn't going to happen like the rumors ;~;
Hey, everyone ticked about the recent wave of "mature" manga disappearances: 1000manga.com is your friend.
>>43291 Disappearances? Fill me in, I've been out of the loop for a while
>>43344 Complaints being made about the content in some manga titles has lead to sites like onemanga and mangafox taking down some of their 18+ titles. I can't recall the details, but there should be a number of posts about it ITT.
Also, moments like this are one of the big reasons I read Hunter x Hunter. >Sorry, but we're gonna be going on another hiatus till who knows when. :( Also, moments like these are one of the big reasons I wish I didn't read Hunter x Hunter.
I would kill every last one of you if it meant I could get a proper Durarara!! OST. The best thing about this fucking show is it's music. Baccano! doesn't even fucking compare. I also finally got caught up and all I can say is... holy shit. This show. This fucking show. Jesus christ. MIKADO IS MOOT HOW AMAZING IS THAT
>>43449 All I can find is the opening track.
>>43449 INORITE Durara seems weaker than Baccano at first, but that's because it keeps the best cards up its sleeve until the moments are right. And believe me, there's alot more HOLY SHIT moments to come.
>Black Lagoon, Chapter 81, Page 6
Does anyone know if there's a group working on this now that it's been released on DVD/BluRay/UMD?
>>43561 Why yes, it is the single best page in the series, glad you agree.
>>43561
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-06-03/yamaga/new-gainax-work-to-be-based-on-novel So apparently the previous mentioned series Gainax is setting in 1920s England is a completely different series than Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt which they are making after that and is still in the early planning stages. Also, it's based off an English children's book also set in that time about a boy and girl who collect magical books. Can any Britfags tell me if they have any idea what book that might be?
Just finished Chinese Electric Batman. Mao is my catbro.
I did not like this anime. In fact, I'm pretty sure I hated it.
>>43872 Really? I loved it, although it wasn't much of anything like the original.
>>43872 You didn't watch it before the original did you? Oh you silly kids.
>>43879 I watched it right after the original.
Is anyone else seeing everything on this board in italics? It comes and goes for me.
Everything is italicized below the first three threads on this page. The first three threads are normal.
>>43921 I read this, pondered a smart-ass remark about your perceptions, then scrolled down to see all threads but this one in italics. Heh.
>>43922 For me the italics begins with the third thread.
>>43924 Oh shit, now it's starting on the second! It's spreading!
IT'S A GUNDAM
>>43872 Now I'm curious, how come you hated it? Did you dislike Gurren lagaan as well? seeing how similar they are. And what did you think of the first one?
Everyone on /m/ hates Diebuster. My friends recently lent me their copy of it and I've only gotten through 3 episodes so far. When do I get to the parts that everyone hates? This shit is awesome so far.
>>43992 I liked Gurren Lagann and I liked the first Gunbuster. They were fun, unabashedly over the top (though Gunbuster less so, to my surprise), but also had straightforward plots and well-established characters and settings. Diebuster I found impossible to follow and, consequently, impossible to care for. So much happened and so little seemed to be established in between to make those occurrences carry any dramatic weight. I felt like I missed 80% of the plot by the time Lal'C's boyfriend tried to rape Nono and just didn't care enough about the characters or plot to revisit the preceding episodes and see what I'd missed. The soundtrack was pretty wicked though, I'll give you that. >>44012 Chances are, you'll like the rest of it; the quality is pretty consistent. It just wasn't the kind that I liked.
