It depends, what kind of cake/pie are we talking about here?

I mean, apple pie is kinda good, but I would gladly choose some Red Velvet cake over generic pie anyday.

I have acquired a martini shaker, what should I shake with it?

Rarely do I own enough different bottles of booze at the same time to make mixed drinks, but I'm bringin' it the bread again so I'm in a position to stock up.

ORANGE MINT DRINK
2 ½ cups water
2 cups sugar
Boil for 10 minutes.
Add:
Juice of 2 oranges
Juice of 6 lemons or 1 cup RealLemon
Pour mixture over 2 handfuls of mint leaves
Cover and let stand at least one hour
Strain, or remove mint
Makes one quart concentrate
Serve 1/3 syrup + 2/3 club soda, gingerale, 7-up, or water.

So what's the most involved dish you've ever made?

For me, I'd say it's a tie between a buche de noel, and a raspberry and chocolate Bavarian cake. The Bavarian was more involved, but the buche de noel was trickier to put together.
