This is a thread about the greatest thing ever: BACON.
Jim Gaffigan is like the funny prophet of bacon.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nT9P8MMpsE#t=02m08s
Why is everybody so obsessed with bacon?
>>2948Because it's like salty Heaven.
So tell me before you dieWhich is better, cake or pie?
I believe both have their merits. Sometimes I am more in the mood for pie, sometimes for cake.
I choose, um...I choose........
It depends, what kind of cake/pie are we talking about here?I mean, apple pie is kinda good, but I would gladly choose some Red Velvet cake over generic pie anyday.
I have acquired a martini shaker, what should I shake with it?Rarely do I own enough different bottles of booze at the same time to make mixed drinks, but I'm bringin' it the bread again so I'm in a position to stock up.
>>2810Huzzah! Coelasquid, slayer of coconuts!
Well it's a martini shaker, what else would you use it for?
>>2874>what else would you use it for?Ass play.Which would make for a really...*sunglasses*dirty martini.

Feel free to add booze.
>>2817And by this summer I mean last summer. I keep forgetting what season we're in.
Just made it with ginger ale and a double shot of brandy, quite tasty.
>>2832Ginger ale goes with everything. Especially if it's Vernors.

~FUCKING GLORIOUS~
>>2772But... they're cute ladies... with bacon! Then if you eat the bacon, they'll be cute, naked ladies! How is this anything other than wonderful?
>>2773Bacon grease is not conducive to sex.
>>2774Says you! Also, you seem to presume I wouldn't lick them clean. Which I would. :)
>LOOK AT ME I'M A RICH FAT AMERICAN WHITE MAN WHO CAN AFFORD TO TAKE HIS FAMILY TO RED LOBSTER.
I lost all interest when I learned how to make the biscuits for myself.
>>2729Protip: Your biscuits are not as good as the real ones.
>>2730protip your biscuits are scones
So what's the most involved dish you've ever made? For me, I'd say it's a tie between a buche de noel, and a raspberry and chocolate Bavarian cake. The Bavarian was more involved, but the buche de noel was trickier to put together.
>>2695its kinda essential, so yeah
>>2696some people don't use okra but instead use some silly thing called filé powder. those people are haters.i'm glad you're not a hater.
This isn't a single dish but I've cooked the majority of a Thanksgiving dinner. Brined dat turkey like it was Aquaman.Single dish... uhh... uhh... OH! The "ratatouille" from the movie Ratatouille. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/06/13/dining/131rrex.html This looks like the recipe.

>>2687Like, make it from scratch make it or just preparing it making it?What sort?Do you have the tools?
What food products do you eat in a manner considered unconventional?I eat french fries when they're still frozen
>>2655They generally take around 15 min. to eat. They thaw while eating.
>>2552theres little to no nutrition in it so probably not gonna last you long.
>>2661>It's like beating your mouth with a nerf baseball bat. This keeps sounding both stranger, and more intriguing.
Hey /ck/ how do you like your steak?Blue Rare
Medium Rare. I'm kind of a pussy. Easy to fuck up though if the number of not-medium-rare steaks I've had is any indication.
i like mine cut up/minced and made into something more interesting
Rare. I like the hearty tang that you can only get while it's still fairly red.
appropriate thread for 420 celebration
>>2632That's what I've heard. Never tried them myself, or really ever intended to. If I'm going to make pot brownies, I'm going to make them right. And delicious. Where the fuck did I put that pot brownie guide?
Weed Tea
>>2628Things with stingers just seemed like an odd choice to put into baked goods. Though I'm certainly not opposed to trying bee (or spider) cookies.>>2632That was kind of the vibe I got looking at the picture. They look a bit... off.
Aw yeah, time for a thread about MEAT. How do you like yours?Personally, I love rare beef, with white chicken coming in a close second. Not a pork fan, though I loves me some bacon.
>>2599It's as good as it sounds.
>>2572seeing this actually made me feel hungry
I am a fool for a good pastrami or meatball sandwiches.I was born on the wrong coast.I've also been known to devour entire racks of lamb.>>2599Oh my lord this looks good.

>>2578Name of vid and/or link/torrent please.
>>2578Christ that's disgusting.
>>2604It was one of the dozens in the American Bukkake series.>>2610Yes. Yes it is.
