I personally think the Council of Kings will take over the WG at the end of the series. The Elders and Nobles of course need a good kick in the pants, but on the other hand, I don't really trust Dragon. The Council seem like decent guys, except for Wapol, who can be the token hilarious douchebag.

By "Council of Kings" I can only assume you're talking about the world leaders in Reverie and not the ten kings that founded the WG. But those guys have their own separate issues and ideas; the only thing bringing them together in the first place is the WG, it's not like they're the UN. Oh, no wait.. they represent different kingdoms and are completely useless. Nevermind, it is the UN.

I don't completely trust Dragon either, and I can already see the whole "ends justify the means/no mercy" confrontation with Luffy coming a mile away like a bullet train. But I do think the Revolutionaries will ultimately be the ones who confront the Marines/WG and replace them. I would not be surprised for a second if Robin's future involved a Tsuru-like high ranking adviser position in the new world regime. Or maybe the Revolutionaries don't WANT a new world order, just every kingdom separated.

I first read one piece in an english shonen jump. At the time, Sasuke was fighting kakashi for his test in naruto, Yugi was setting niggers on fire in yugioh, and luffy was fighting a clown.

Now to me, one piece did no seem to be the manga to read, so I read a lot of naruto and watched it decline over time. Bleach faded over time. Yugioh faded over time. Same with Shaman king, yuyu hakusho, etc. They all lost the thing I loved about them.
