Yea Fox the worst of the networks that just cans show after show because they cannot schedule for shit..or is it having more than a couple shows not animated running scares them? NBC is just about as as bad when it comes to Superhero stuff (the Wonder Woman pilot being the best example)

Pity I can't tell what's from fox, because I love me some short-lived series. American Gothic, The Others, Point Pleasant, Nowhere Man, Roar...

sure it kinda got two seasons but with as much as they messed around with it in the second I'm calling this just on the first season. Great show and could have been a great lead in to- DC street level stuff like a GCPD or MPD show.

Fox has done a really good job killing any show that doesn't make it 13x the cost in the first episode alone. They're so short-sighted it hurts. They even cancelled Futurama and Family Guy; they were smartgreedy enough to bring back FG, though it's not as good now, and CC was smart enough to pick up Futurama (but not post it on Hulu, bastards.)

Firefly was well on its way to becoming the next Babylon 5 (pre last two seasons).

No, it's that they go "well it didn't do well in this slot let's move it to this slot" every single week so even those who want to tune in and see it can't get the time right and ratings continue to drop. And then they'll show sequential episodes out of order.

I still can't get over how screwed Wonderfalls was. Very little advertising in spite of critical praise, an inexplicably delayed premiere because the execs thought it'd look like a Joan of Arcadia ripoff, aired against Joan, moved from Fridays to Thursdays with no promotion, and cancelled after just four episodes were aired out of order. Nice.
