I just watched Dark City last night. A couple of weeks ago I watched Gattaca. I watched both of them because I heard good stuff about them and mostly because Netflix suggested them to me based on what I like. And I suddenly remembered watching these on TV in my early teens. I never really thought about them that much, they aired on a channel that often showed foreign indie movies. La Cinquieme/France 5/Arte whatever the channel is called now. I often caught a movie already started and watch until the end but I never tried to find a title.

As I watched Dark City I couldn't remember the story but I remembered the ambiance and some little details and realized that these movies contributed to shape my current taste in movies.

A little help? Basically if you got a link to a download or a torrent or full film on Youtube or some shit of a film you like with giant monsters, can you give it to me? I really want to watch everything I can, so I'm not giving many specific directions.

I did manage to find The Host and the original Godzilla, though. At least the US version of the Godzilla.

Technically I didn't "find it", I just never went to see it in theatres, but I watched Bunraku on Netflix. Josh Hartnet and Gackt (with some assitence from Woody Harrelson) fight Ron Perlman and his 10 deadly assassins. The story wasn't crazy good, but it had some fucking amazing visuals and some pretty cool fights.

I watched "Everything Must Go" as well. Will Ferrell is actually pretty good at drama. Also, Glenn Howerton (Dennis from Always Sunny) plays what is essentially corporate Dennis.
