It's probably less that it's region-locked and more that you have to be on the right store to be able to buy the stuff. Usually if you have a PSN account for the region you want to get DLC for, you can get it regardless of what region you're actually in. But setting up a Japanese PSN account requires a Japanese credit card, I think.

Finished Liveman today, pretty fun series good hero/villain dynamic and just a good villain cast in general. Last 10 episodes are great just constant ramping up with no filler and in loved then ending. Really recommend it.

Started watching Kamen Rider Stronger. Jo is a hilarious jackass to the villains. I couldn't stop laughing at the part of an episode where Stronger and Black Satan henchmen fight on swan paddle boats.
