Hey /co/, So I've been working on an edit/parody of Avengers vs X-Men in the style of MightyGodKing's Civil War parody, since I always loved that and I wanted to give it a try. And the real thing is subpar because it fuses forced retcons onto out of character writing, creating a story that doesn't connect with any of the dramatic tension it should. You no longer feel like you're reading the characters you care about, so you don't care. Then it's just a bad story left to stand on its own legs.
