Why do people blame Korra for the love triangle when she was more than willing to do what Aang couldn't and let go of such romantic feelings at the end of Episode 6?

I'd be more likely to blame Mako for his sudden random confliction of feelings that felt forced.

Yes, Mako was a black hole of boring that hindered characters' character - but Korra shares some of that bad decision making. Maybe they can make it work in the next few Books, but I would rather they just focus on developing people and let the relationship tag along than the other way around.
